Physical therapy services focus on enhancing mobility, and improving balance, coordination, strength and endurance to promote independence in the home and community. Our physical therapists will help your child develop motor skills such as rolling, sitting, crawling, walking and running, to name a few. They have experience with a variety of treatment techniques including NDT, infant massage and sensory integration techniques, as well as experience with a variety of diagnoses including, but not limited to torticollis, cerebral palsy and prematurity. Our physical therapists utilize a playful approach and creative techniques to help your child develop a strong core and stable base of support so that other skills can develop. They will assist in obtaining durable medical equipment such as helmets, standers, chairs and orthotics, and will work closely with physicians and specialists with whom your child is involved.
